After reviewing a record number of entries, the judges have selected the winners of this year’s My First Speech Competition!

Congratulations to our winners on writing exceptional speeches on issues they are passionate about.
Video footage of the winners’ speeches will be available on the House of Representatives YouTube channel after the ceremony.

Winners will be invited to Canberra.
A formal presentation with certificates presented by the Speaker of the House.
Private tours of Parliament House and attendance at Question Time.
A morning tea with the Speaker of the House and judges.
Winners in each year group will be posted on the Parliament House website and shared on the department’s social media channels.
